Horses for Sale and Lease

Hunters Run Stables often has a variety of horses on the premises for sale or for partial or full lease. We have provided a submission form at the bottom of this page for you to fill out when you are interested in one or more of these horses. Your contact information will be passed to the horse owners and they will contact you directly for follow-up. This page is simply a vehicle for our boarders and riders to advertise their horses.

Horses for Lease

Charlotte. Charlotte is a safe, sound and decorated (13.2 hh) grey pony mare available for one or two day a week lease for walk trot through short stirrup levels.

Charlotte's Web's (Charlotte's) qualifications include end of year 7th's in both CHJA and CHSA Short Stirrup Hunter for 2008, 5th in Short Stirrup Hunter CHSA Finals in 2008 and 7th in 2007. Charlotte was the 2006 CHSA Pony Pleasure Champion and still 5th in this division the following year while her rider concentrated on other goals. She has qualified her rider for CHSA Walk Trot Pleasure awards in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and CHSA Finals as well. Charlotte has helped her riders achieve their equitation goals at schooling and rated shows as well as in the lesson program. Her calm demeanor, perfect ground manners, and extensive experience can help any rider learn about horsemanship. Teddy. Teddy or Not (“Teddy”) is a beautiful 14.1hh pinto show pony available for a two day a week lease!! He is suitable for beginner through intermediate level riders and is bombproof with a very sweet and giving personality. Teddy has wonderful ground manners and is very easy to handle. He is a master at the shows and always in the ribbons in hunter and pleasure classes. On site lease only. Contact Susan (860)558-2070 or Renee (860) 205-1226 to give Teddy a try.

Amber. 15 year old, 15.2 hh QH Mare.

Amber is good for an advanced beginner to intermediate rider. Good for W/T/C and for jumping small fences. She has been showing with her current owner for the past two years in pleasure and cross rail classes.
